Then it's straight to meeting up with

I'm glad that I've got to see Richard Kelly's latest work this quickly, as I didn't see Donnie Darko for a while after it was released.
Southland Tales, like Donnie Darko, is not surprisingly a bit of a headfuck. Richard Kelly has describing this film as "a puzzle for viewers", which I can safely say that it is. Dwayne Johnson and Seann William Scott prove that they are capable of serious (or at least black comedy) roles. Justin Timberlake (who I used to hate) is amazing as a drug-using soldier and actually does a very very good cover of "All These Things I've Done" by The Killers.
I'm definitely planning to go see this at the cinema when it opens on the 7th December.
And that's it for now.

Quote from Wikipedia -
Southland Tales is a 2007 science fiction / drama / Black comedy film, written and directed by Richard Kelly. The title refers to the Southland, a name used by locals to refer to Southern California and Greater Los Angeles. Set in the near future, the film is a portrait of Los Angeles and a comment on the military-industrial news-tainment complex. The film features an ensemble cast headed by Dwayne Johnson, Seann William Scott and Sarah Michelle Gellar, and also featuring Miranda Richardson, Cheri Oteri, Christopher Lambert, Mandy Moore, Justin Timberlake and fellow film director Kevin Smith.
