It's Tuesday and I'm feeling quite tired, but this is most likely due to the fact that I've caught a goddamn cold and I'm coughing and sneezing every few seconds. It seems that I am not the only one either, as quite a few of my work colleagues have a cold too. x_x

DoD:Source was released last night (whilst I was asleep, no less) so I'll probably try it out tonight along with getting some time into BF2 and possibly Guild Wars.

In other news I'm looking through prospective pubs and bars for the Leeds furmeet, trying to find one that has a private function room for us to use. The daft thing is that I know of loads of places in Wakefield that would do, but none in Leeds. ;)

More later.

EDIT: Trust there to be a Leeds United match on the day of the Leeds meet. x_x

Ooh. Yay for DoD! Less yay for ickyfeelings.

Heh. Gotta love football/rugby/othersport. Cardiff being a capital, Central station is quite often completely jam-packed and closed off whenever there's an even marginally big-ish game happening. Goodbye all forms of local travel :P

you could all just turn up dressed as skunks,... no one would notice the differance :P
(leeds IS the team with the black white colours, right?)

A quick Google suggests that Leeds are seemingly mostly white. Newcastle would be a better choice for skunk-camo. c.c

Just shows how little I know about football :P

I'm rabidly anti-football, but I loves the Google, yesh.

Change doesn't have to take time!

Well, as you've sorta-kinda-completely taken the meet over, you could just move it this time around.
Its only a £2 return rail fare (or similar bus fare) to Wakefield from Leeds.
Of course, you'd have to orient the non-locals around Wakefield and prepare a map detailing the shortest route from function-room to DDR, but thats beside the way.

what kindof size o you need the function room? any other criteria? i know quite a bit of leeds so i'll have a think for you.
first one to come to mind is the packhorse. bang slap in the middle of town and has a private room upstairs

actually thinking more on it theres not much in leeds city centre with a function room, theres strawberry fields up the top end of town next to the fenton and thats about all i can think of :/

though if its a during the day thing you maybe able to hire the phono
