Weekend - Everquest II and Yu-Gi-Oh!

So on Thursday I decided to go back to EverCrack II, and I was presently surprised to see that a lot of the stuff that annoyed me about it originally has been changed.

- You now select your profession at the very start of the game instead of when you reach certain levels.
- You now gain double XP (both adventure and tradeskill) when at full health.
- Enemies no longer agro when, after having chased a PC/NPC, returning to their area.

There are a few other bits and pieces that I forget, but those are the ones I remember mostly.

On Friday evening I went to stay over at Sil's so that we could both attend a Yu-Gi-Oh! tournament on Saturday. Despite what you might think there was a 1:1 mix of kids and adults playing. We took part in the Doubles (2 on 2) games, promptly getting our asses kicked in the first round, then after restructuring our own decks to make them work together better we went and came third. :D

Sunday was... not so great. I came down with something and spent most of the day spewing up my guts, finally getting to sleep at 5am this morning. Aaand from tomorrow I've got another course this week.

More later.

Wow. Someone who plays Yu-Gi-Oh? o.o

We should have a game sometime, for all I've not played in about two years and am likely to suck.

Oooh! Another EQ2 addict! What server?

Currently enjoying the path of an evil Lvl 28 Ratonga Necromancer on Runnyeye

Is that the PVP server or are you playing the trial?

Interesting, I only had access to 3 servers:

The PVP one
Runnyeye
Splitclaw

how come you have access to more?

Ah! You are a jammy bastard! ;p

I hate being limited to UK/Europe servers, most of the people I want to play with are in the US!

Get one of these USians to pick you up a copy and do it that way? c.c

Bah, I've subscribed now, too much effort to do otherwise ;p

True, but I think I'm allrigt where I am to be honest...especially seeing you have to pay to do it *grumble*. Might consider it though if these servers dry up anymore then they are already.

If you like Everquest you should check out Vanguard by Sigil Games Online when it finally gets past the closed beta stage... Same team that made EQ1 and it kicks EQ2's ass. I did a little contract work for them on the animation system. ^.^
