I've gotten to the mines in HL2, but I'm sure I've still got a helluva long way to go before I'll be anywhere near completing the game.

I also need to play Battlefield 2 on ranked servers more.

Really? I always preferred Ravenholm, although I wish it was a bit longer c.c

Last level does indeed rock hardcore, though :)

There.. is. but I'm not posting my work email address in a public forum and I'm a bit shy about giving it out anyhow c.c Especially since we keep having Reminders given in team meetings about 'internet and email abuse'.

Then again, I suppose I use the internet enough that it's 'in for a penny, in for a pound' regardless?

Yes, yes it does.. *wags manically* of course.. in a few years time, we MAY just get a satisfactory ending... halflife.. the ever-going franchise...

although booms are good!! but yes. the last level indeed does have osmehting specially wonderful about it..

That and the fact that since Halflife and Halflife 2 are told entirely (ENTIRELY, mark you, no cut-scenes or anything) from Gordon's point of view, there can't really /be/ an ending until he hangs up the hazard suit and pops his clogs :P

That was my other suggestion, but I got more amusement out of the Zimmer c.c

this is true, dont get me wrong, the 'cliffhanger' (although can you call it a cliffhanger when its expected?) at the end is very intriguing.. although they might be hard pressed to beat HL2, was a pretty damned near spankilngly perfect game fi you ask me.. well, other than a few ai glitches ^^

HL2 should've had an optional camera to find, so you can take scenic photos during the country driving bits.
