Heys Thalyi, just a thought, unless you're using scsi, it might be better to create a new partition for pagefile.sys on disc 2 rather than leaving it either in s: or in c:. Also if you haven't done it already, updating the environment variables to point to your scratch disk, or preferrably to a partition on disc 2 as then any installers will extract from d1 to d2, then install from d2 to d1 (and so removing a lot of intra-disc seeks). would stop all those lovely "temp" folders that clutter up c: as well.
If you have enough spare IDE/SATA headers you could also drop each hdd onto its own controller and make sure that CD drives get kept off the bus, as the speed tends to revert back to the slowest device-sync on the channel. Windows HW manager says different sometimes, so maybe someone has fixed that these days though.
