The Lair of The Dark Knight

This weekend was awesome. On Friday night Lupus Ex Machina was joined by kittiah, miyabisan and tryst_fel_cath . Despite the technical problems that we faced it was a show full of win. :D

Saturday was spent at the London Furmeet, which was great as I got to see loads of folks that I hadn't seen for a long time.

Sunday we all went to the RBW venue; it's freaking amazing. :D

More info regarding RBW (theme, venue, pricing, etc) will be released in April.

Well this was a first for all of us. The first furry convention of it's size in the UK.

Before I go into my report I just want to thank everyone who was on staff, especially those that I may have bossed around. I really do want to apologise if I seemed distracted or uninterested at times, unfortunately it comes with the territory.

So on Friday night I arrived into London at around 9pm and it was pissing it down. I heading off to the Royal National and hung with Spunky, Kei, Muzz, Alarian, Axle and co for a few hours. Then drinks happened in the lobby bar. XD
I remember that at some point that night I had a conversation with Atalon about Manowar and then I ended up asleep.

Saturday morning we (FoxB, Wolfpaw, Orona and I) got up early and, after having breakfast with Kage, headed off to the venue. Most of Saturday is a blur to me, but I do remember getting fursuit hugs from loads of fursuiters (which made me so very happy). I managed to get to chat with Lance Ikegawa once my shyness finally left me, which was really full of awesome.

The boat trip was also pretty damn awesome for many reasons. Mat'Ra's musical set was all kinds of win as it was mostly metal, 2's show was hilarious as usual, and as you will have seen from one of my prior entries I got a hug and a picture from Lance Ikegawa as Jon Talbain (that made me squee like a little kid).

Sunday was a lot more relaxed than Saturday, which gave me much more time to chat with people. Thank you to everyone who I managed to chat to, even if it was for a fleeting moment.

Seriously, every single one of you who went rocked hard. Thanks to all of you who attended for making the con what it was, and I'm so freaking happy that you enjoyed it. :D

And that's it. I appreciate convention staff even more now.

And I've also volunteered to do the same thing next year. XD

I'm on my way to RBW now. I wont be online again until Sunday evening, but I'll try to at least make voice posts. :)

Holy shit.

RBW is THIS WEEKEND.

I'm shitting bricks.

Why am I shitting bricks? Because I am Con Ops. I have to do everything. XD

So if you see me running around and I don't stop to say "Hi!" it's not because I don't want to talk to you, but because I'm busing making sure nothing breaks/fucks up. My spare time (if any) will probably consist of eating or filming the con for my own pleasure.I probably wont be drinking much either due to the fact.

That doesn't mean that you shouldn't come up and say "Hi!" though. XD

And if any of you fursuiters who are going see me looking down/worried/stressed or in "OMG WHERE IS SO AND SO?" mode, feel free to give me a hug. It'll cheer me up. ^.^

Of course I could just be worrying about nothing and this turns into a cake-walk, but an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. :)
