Favourite Heavy Metal song? Dang, that's a tough one. Deep Purple et al hold quite a place in my heart but I'm not entirely sure they're Heavy Metal. Certainly Rock, probably metal, but a mid-weight metal such as steel (certainly not Aluminium, perhaps not Cast Iron).

So, erring on the safe side, I'll go for Iron Maiden's Fear of the Dark.

Old skool Metallica. (The Black Album is the last thing by them I would consider "really good", though I like "S&M" too)
