ConFuzzled Stuff

[graafen]

This time next week it'll be two hours into ConFuzzled's Sunday night dance, the Midnight Blue Dance. BBF will be spinning the decks for an unknown amount of time, and I know that a lot of furs are planning to pull an all-nighter during this and sleep everything off on Monday.

Being ConOps Head and a Security bod this means that I will too be pulling an all-nighter. ;)

The LAST staff meeting before CF was held across yesterday and today. We finalised a lot of things here (especially some of the games) and everything is ready to go!

Personally I have only a few last things to do, most of which is making sure that my radios are charged and my bags are packed. Radinov is going in the wash when I get back from work on Tuesday and will be hung out to dry up until Thursday afternoon when I pack her for the journey.

I'll be leaving for CF on Thursday evening and will stay at the YHA overnight so that I'm on site to help set everything up on Friday morning, and then at 15:30 on Friday the doors will open and registration will start! :D

"Pack your party bags, furries, because CF is gonna be large one!"

FOUR DAYS AND FOURTEEN HOURS LEFT. :D

I was thinking about adding you too after I saw your post on the ConFuzzled community. It's great to see folks coming from the US to our little con. I hope to see you there! :D

Looking forward to this trip a-lot, and as for all con's; they start somewhere and I'm happy to attending this one. I am sure it will run for many years to come. I've been to many of the US con's though the years and for the most part it is pretty much become "same 'ol con" but at a different location. With that said my best con experience to date has been Eurofurence, and that last years. Granted I have my US favorites such as "Further Confusion & Midwest Fur Fest" which I've look forward to attending each year. But I am seeking more then what the US can provide and that is the international flair of the Furry Scene. Now in the states it has really just simply exploded in the last 2 years, with a convention just about every month! There is no way I could run around to attend them all, so it now up to selecting the ones that can offer more then great con time but as well more of making sort of vacation so as to enjoy what the location can offer in pre/post con adventures.

I'm sure that you'll have a wonderful time over here. Our island may be small but it does have a lot to offer, London especially. :)

I suppose that I'll have to as well!

Actually, thinking about it we could probably take shifts that evening, so that one member of security is awake and on duty. We can discuss it later this week. :)

For your information, I'll be arriving on Friday morning with Twll and Cosmo. I was meant to be travelling up and staying at the YHA on Thu evening but various reasons meant I'm now staying at theirs. Is there anything you'd like me to bring or do for ConOps?
